In an industry where executive tenure can be measured in seasons, the management team has more than 80 years as operational executives building the company together and more than 100 years in the fashion accessory industry.
Jill Maier: President & Chief Operating Officer
was appointed President in May 2016 following a 13-year tenure as Vice
President of Merchandising and Design at Carolee. She joined the
company on 2003 from Liz Claiborne Corp, where she was the Vice
President of Jewelry, Handbags and Fashion Accessories for more than
nine year working on a variety of domestic and international brands.
Previously, she held major merchant and design positions with other
leading consumer products companies including Wedgewood Waterford and
Lantis Eyewear. Jill holds a B.S on Consumer Science from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Margie Connelly: Head of Global Business Development
joined Carolee in September 2016 with 15 years of experience building
licensed partnerships with brands such as Vince, Vera Want, Juicy
Couture and DVF at Brown Shoe Company and Liz Claiborne Corp. Prior
experience also includes international merchandise management and sales
for Ralph Lauren Footwear and Many's New York. She attended the Fashion
Institute of Technology where she earned a B.S. in Marketing.
